UNIT 6!

Updated: Nov 30, 2017

Unit 6 the final unit on the Foundation course, which is marked along with Units 1-5. It's all about thinking about beyond the course; what part of Art, Media and Design we wish to take up further, what specific course, what university and the research we do to figure this out.

BRIEF

AIM

To enable the candidate to develop skills with which they can make best use of appropriate progression opportunities.

RATIONAL

This Unit is designed to encourage us to gain a deeper understanding of the Art, Design or Media discipline that we're studying, to help us develop a greater understanding of the progression opportunities available, and to be able to successfully access them at the highest level.

ASSIGNMENT

"You are asked to produce a body of evidence that shows you have planned your time effectively to access identified progression opportunities, organised and presented a digital Portfolio and used communication skills effectively to progress from your current course of study. Your UCAS application will provide considerable evidence for this Unit. If you are not applying through UCAS, you should write a 500 word statement outlining the progression route you have chosen (eg employment..) and why you have taken it. All the evidence should be presented on an appropriate Blog."

At the moment, I am currently researching into different universities which do the course I want to take up for higher education, which is Architecture. More about this in another blog post!
